Plum Pudding

Ingredients:

  •  Flour - 45 gm
  •  Carrots (raw grated) - 60 gm 
  •  Potatoes (raw grated) - 85 gm
  •  Raisins - 60 gm Dates - 60 gm 
  •  Butter - 45 gm 
  •  Sugar - 35 gm 
  •  Nuts (chopped) - 30 gm 
  •  Soda bicarbonate - 1/4 tsp 
  •  Cinnamon (powder) - 1/4 tsp
  •  Cloves (powder) - 1/4 tsp 
  •  Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp 
  •  Salt a pinch  



Recipe Directions: 

  • Mix together grated carrots, potatoes, chopped raisins, dates, nuts, sugar and butter. 
  • Mix together soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, salt and flour. Add to first mixture. 
  • Put into greased bun tins. 
  • Steam for about 2 hours. Serve with vanilla sauce or hard sauce.
