How to prepare Chinese Fried Rice ? - Fried Rice Recipes - Viji's New Recipes

 CHINESE FRIED RICE

 


Ingredients:

  • Basmathi Rice- 2 cup
  • Egg - 4 (optional)
  • Carrots - 3
  • Peas -1 cup
  • Beans - 50gm
  • Spring Onion - 1 bunch
  • Cabbage- 200gms
  • Cauliflower -1 (small size)
  • Oil - 5 tbsp 
  • Onion - 3
  • Capsicum - 3 (small size) 
  • Aji-no-moto - 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Caramalised sugar syrup - 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Vinegar Chillies :

  • Fresh green chillies -6 ( cut into thin pieces)
  • Vinegar - 3/4 cup
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce - 1tbsp

Mix everything two to three hours before serving. 

Recipe Direction:

  • Boil the rice in 4 cups of water to which little salt and a 1 tsp of oil is added. When it is three fourth tender drain water completely.Allow the rice to cool completely by spreading on a broad plate. Separate the grains.
  • Chop the vegetables into medium size. Cut spring onions into one inch long pieces. Cook the peas separately.
  • In a large sauce pan pour oil  add fry onions, carrots, capsicum, peas and cabbage in order to given. While frying vegetables and half of the Aji-no-moto. Fry in a high flame for few minutes till vegetables become tender. Toss well.
  • Scramble the eggs separately with a pinch of salt. 
  • Add cooked rice, salt pepper, scrambled eggs and caramel sugar. Sprinkle Soya sauce and fry in a high flame till rice is fried well. Toss well. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot with vinegar chillies.
