How to Prepare Paneer Pulao? - Paneer Pulao Recipes - Viji's New Recipes
PANEER PULAO
Ingredients:
- Basmathi rice- 300gms
- Paneer - Made from 2 liter milk
- Potato - 1 small size
- Cauliflower - 1 small
- Onions -3
- Fresh Peas - 100gm
- Cinnamon -2 inch piece
- Cloves -3
- Black cardamoms -3
- Ghee or Oil - 5 tbsp
- Bay leaves - 2
- Fresh Lemon juice -1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - 1tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Recipe Direction:
- Soak rice for 20 minutes. Drain the water and fry in 2 tsp of ghee separately for 5 minutes.
- Slice the onions, dice potatoes into cubes, Separate cauliflower into small flowerettes.
- Heat oil heavy in a heavy small pan, Carefully fry the paneer cubes till light brown. Remove from oil and blanch it in warm waters till required.
- In the remaining oil fry potato cubes till golden brown and keep aside. In the same manner fry onions also till crisp and keep aside.
- In the remaining oil add cinnamon, cloves,bay leaf , cumin seeds and cardamoms.When its fried add peas and cauliflower. Fry for 5 minutes. Add water, salt and chilli powder. When its starts boiling add rice, fried potato cubes, and half of he fried paneer pieces. Mix gently and close with thin cloth and on top with a heavy tight lid. Reduce flame completely and allow the rice to cook for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and check whether rice is cooked well. Transfer to the plate sprinkle lemon juice and mix gently. Serve hot with fried onions and paneer pieces on top.
