SPAGHETTI WITH TOMATO SAUCE Ingredients: Spaghetti - 500gm (long) Onion - 1 (Large chopped) Garlic - 4 flakes (chopped) Fresh Tomatoes - 1 1/2 kg (chopped) Fresh Lemon Juice - 5 tsp Freshly grounded Black Pepper to taste Sugar - 1 tsp Olive oil - 5 tsp Fresh Basil leaves for garnish Fresh Parmesan Cheese - 20gm (cut into pieces) (optional) Salt to taste Method: In large sauce pan pour 5 liters so water add pasta, 1tsp of salt and place over a high heat. Warm 20ml of olive oil in a sauce pan over moderate heat, add the onion cook until tender. Add garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat add tomatoes cook until they have collapsed and sauce has thickened (15 to 20 minutes). Add Sugar ,salt and pepper and keep warm.
