Plum Pudding
Ingredients:
- Flour - 45 gm
- Carrots (raw grated) - 60 gm
- Potatoes (raw grated) - 85 gm
- Raisins - 60 gm Dates - 60 gm
- Butter - 45 gm
- Sugar - 35 gm
- Nuts (chopped) - 30 gm
- Soda bicarbonate - 1/4 tsp
- Cinnamon (powder) - 1/4 tsp
- Cloves (powder) - 1/4 tsp
- Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- Salt a pinch
Recipe Directions:
- Mix together grated carrots, potatoes, chopped raisins, dates, nuts, sugar and butter.
- Mix together soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, salt and flour. Add to first mixture.
- Put into greased bun tins.
- Steam for about 2 hours. Serve with vanilla sauce or hard sauce.
