CREAMY PASTA WITH PEPPER AND SALSA
Ingredients:
Farfalle Pasta - 250gm
Tomato Puree - 3 cups
Green Chilli - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Cheese - 4 to 5 tbsp (grated)
Button Mushrooms - 50 gm(sliced)
Oregano - 2 tsp
A pinch of Sugar
Fresh lemon juice - 3 tsp
Olive oil - 3 tsp
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Recipe Direction:
Boil water in a large pan add 4 cups of water when it starts boiling add 1tsp salt and 2tsp oil.
Add pasta in the boiling water keep stirring gently till it cooks becomes soft.Drain the water transfer to a plate add few drops of oil mix gently ( it won't becomes sticky together)and allow it to cool. Keep aside.
To make Salsa: In a a microwave safe bowl, add 2 tsp oil and add garlic paste and mushrooms and microwave for 5 minutes at 100% power.
Now add tomato puree, salt, pepper, oregano, sugar,chilli and lemon juice mix well and microwave covered at 100% for 5 to 10 minutes. Also add grated cheese and mix well.
Pour the sauces over the hot pasta. Garnish with Italian seasoning and serve hot.
