How to prepare Creamy Pasta with Pepper and Salsa? - Pasta Recipes -
CREAMY PASTA WITH PEPPER AND SALSA
Ingredients:
- Farfalle Pasta - 250gm
- Tomato Puree - 3 cups
- Green Chilli - 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Cheese - 4 to 5 tbsp (grated)
- Button Mushrooms - 50 gm(sliced)
- Oregano - 2 tsp
- A pinch of Sugar
- Fresh lemon juice - 3 tsp
- Olive oil - 3 tsp
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Recipe Direction:
- Boil water in a large pan add 4 cups of water when it starts boiling add 1tsp salt and 2tsp oil.
- Add pasta in the boiling water keep stirring gently till it cooks becomes soft.Drain the water transfer to a plate add few drops of oil mix gently ( it won't becomes sticky together)and allow it to cool. Keep aside.
- To make Salsa: In a a microwave safe bowl, add 2 tsp oil and add garlic paste and mushrooms and microwave for 5 minutes at 100% power.
- Now add tomato puree, salt, pepper, oregano, sugar,chilli and lemon juice mix well and microwave covered at 100% for 5 to 10 minutes. Also add grated cheese and mix well.
- Pour the sauces over the hot pasta. Garnish with Italian seasoning and serve hot.
