How to Prepare Fresh Herb Omelette ? - Omelette Recipe - Viji's New Recipes

 FRESH HERB OMELETTE

 


Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 2 
  • Finely chopped fresh parsley - 2 tsp
  • Finely chopped fresh chives - 3/4 tsp
  • Finely chopped fresh chervil - 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped fresh tarragon - 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt and fresh ground black Pepper 

 

 

Recipe Directions:

  • Break the eggs into a bowl and beat them lightly until the whites and yolks have just combined.Season with salt and black pepper . Add the herbs.
  • Place a small frying pan over a moderate heat and, when its hot, put in the butter, turn the heat up to high, and swirl the butter around the pan without letting it brown.
  • Pour in the eggs, tipping the pan so that it is evenly coated. Using fork, gently draw the edges of the eggs towards the center and let the liquid egg run to the edges. Keep doing until the omelette is almost set but still a little moist on top it takes around a minute .
  • To serve the omelette folded in half as shown here, hold the pan over a warmed plate and slide the omelette on the plate, allowing the top half to flip over and cover the bottom half on the plate. Alternatively, fold it in three. While the omelette is still in the pan , flip one third over towards the center, then slide it on to a warmed plate,unfolded edge first, allowing the folded part to flip and cover the rest. Server hot.
