 CREAMY MUSHROOM FETTUCCINE PASTA

 

 Ingredients:

For Boiling:

  • Pasta - 500 gm Fettuccine
  • Water - 7 cups
  • Salt - 2 tsp
  • Olive oil - 3 tsp

For Sauce:

  • Flour - 3 tbsp
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Butter - 3 tbsp
  • Baby corns - 1/4 cup (chopped) 
  • Mushrooms - 1/4 cup (sliced)
  • Red chilli flakes - 2 tsp
  • Grated Parmesan cheese -  1/2 cup

For Garnish:

  • Spring onion - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)


Method:

In a large sauce pan, mix all ingredients for boiling pasta and cook for 20 to 25 minutes. Drain and keep aside.

In the same pan , add butter and flour and fry for  5 minutes. Pour milk, stir it and and cook for 5 to 10 minutes stir in between.

Add baby corn ,mushrooms and red chilli flakes to it and cook for 5 to minutes. Add cheese, salt and pepper and cook for another 5 minutes or till the cheese melts.

Season to taste and pour this hot sauce over the boiled fettuccine.Garnish with spring onion.
